I need 2 cell phones. One is on Verizon and the other is on the Sprint network.

Since I am not switching to AT&T, the Microsoft Lumia 950 XL is out (although I think it could be cool), so I think I'll get the new iPhone SE on my Verizon network. That will mostly be my personal phone. The other is more work related and we'll see what comes along. I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on Sprint and it works really well for me. I never had an iPhone and think the new SE will be the one.

Anyone else thinking of that one?

I think it will be just too small on my hand. Wish they make something between the 6 and plus.

Joe...It will certainly make for a nicely compact remote control!

So the Microsoft 950XL dual sim and Samsung S7 dual sim phones are both out of the short list?

USA is fortunate to have dual sim variants. We may not be getting either in dual sim.

Steve,

The Lumia is only out because I don't think a version is available for Verizon or Sprint. I don't want to switch to AT&T. I'll do more research.

Have had every iPhone model since the first version, so an Apple announcement is a big yawn by now...

I have been waiting for the 5se since I heard the first rumors awhile back. I have held onto my 5S after trying my wife's 6S which is too large and I don't like the rounded edges. With the 5se I get all the power of the larger units that easily fits in my front pants pocket or shirt pocket.

Hi Jim,

I could not think of what was one of the things that attracted me to the new SE, that's it. The others seem too thin. I have a Ballistix case on my Galaxy note 4 and love the heft of it. I can really get hold of it.

I also love the smaller form factor for my personal phone. It makes popping it into my pocket a breeze.

My wife has a 6 plus and she said " once you go with Big you can't go back" thank god she still with me after all these years [emoji38]

So they took the insides of the 6 and put it in the body of the 5. Wow, iPhone is grabbing for straws.

I will be getting one soon. My 5 is at least 3 1/2 years old, and while it works fine as a phone, and remote for the Lumin, it needs to be replaced. The glass came unglued from the phone, and now it is held together with two tie wraps.

Was that another Friday night escapade Bud?

lol., but don't let either answer your phone then!

Hahaha

There was a funny FB photo of a guy dressed in hospital robes only walking barefoot in a hurried manner and the quote underneath said: "this is what happens when a man is admitted to hospital and they take all his personal belongings, put them in a bag and give to his wife (including his cell phone)."

I've had the opportunity on many occasions to use these Droid phones, Samsung and the like. I still prefer the iPhone user experience. It reminds me of the Windows vs Mac debate. Some prefer Windows, others Mac.

I've owned them all, even the worlds first smartphone the IBM Simon , boy have things changed since then. I've enjoyed my Android phones and the Apple phones. Right now I'm using my Apple 6s.
