I'm thinking about upgrading to the iPhone 7, from my older iPhone 5.

Any iPhone 7 users can provide some early thoughts on the phone?

Mike, You have to do it. The iPhone 7 is awesome. But the Plus is even better. Fantastic, a must have. Throw out the dinosaur you are using.

Disclosure: I don't have an iPhone (or any smart phone) :dunno: But I do have a pile of Apple stock. :( Please help.

iPhone 7 plus camera and video is great. A big leap from the 5/5s. The regular 7 has a very good camera too, but the plus is really really good. Im not selling my Nikon D810, but color me impressed.

I love my new Jet Black iPhone 7 versus my iPhone 5. Everything is better, and I am now used to the slightly bigger size. Plus I don't have to use two tie wraps to keep it together. :)

Thanks guys. Looks like I'll go for the Big 7.

Got the 7 Plus here (replaced a 6 Plus), and I can easily recommend it. The camera is incredible, and the overall speed boost helps too.

Totally hopeless: can't even get an iPhone 7 plus anywhere. Verizon and AT&T are telling me "December at the earliest".

I don't know about AT&T and Verizon...but sprint was that far back ordered on jet black (glossy) all sizes...but the silver, black, and rose gold were all sooner. Try asking about a 128 or 256 if they might be sooner. Every size and color combo is backordered differently.

I did. No luck. Sprint doesn't have good coverage here. I heard they are worst. No?

I have both Verizon and Sprint. Verizon is best at work because we have Verizon repeaters in the building and coverage is spectacular. Sprint used to be more spotty but now, outside of work, my Sprint coverage is as good or better than Verizon.

It's time Mike. The 8 is rummored to be a big step but you must get rid of the 5. The performance gain is significant.

Sad what's happened to Apple. Once upon a time, they created new product categories and new markets. With the iPhone 7, they are reduced to removing the headphone jack and calling it a day.

Kev.......Oh yes, Apple has had its share of iPhone safety issues that include battery fires, Firewire meltdowns, and personal injuries. It is most unfortunate when a particular battery manufactured by a subcontractor fails and causes safety issues with certain model phones that ultimately blemish the reputations of high-end cellphone manufacturers like Apple and Samsung.

We expect perfection from the things we purchase but the fact is if it is made by the hand of man it is subject to failure. It is fortunate for consumers that information about safety issues with any product can be communicated quickly via the Internet. This helps ensure rapid recalls and corrected replacements.

The wife's iphone 7 is eating up her battery. Under battery in general settings it shows, 70% on the home and lock screen. A trip to the Apple store in Jacksonville, they have NO clue, AT ALL. I might as well just ask my cat.

Actually, the Galaxy S7 Edge KILLS the iPhone 7. And no the smokey one is the Samsung NOTE 7....different beast altogether.

If you can leave the Apple ecosystem (with its built in obsolescene) the come on in, the water is MUCH warmer. LoL

Oh and with everything on, I get a day and a half of charge. Love IT!
