Hi everyone,

I'm here to post about a music player that my colleague and I are looking to bring to market. It's a music player all about album art, a square screen, shows album artwork edge-to-edge, and we run a database for hosting full artwork.

It's early days, and we have quite a high goal to achieve, but take a look at this link and I'd be happy to answer any questions.

The device has a fairly premium price tag ($700), mainly due to the scarcity of square displays!

Search for "Sleevenote" and you should find it :)

Hello. I read about the Sleevenote earlier, and I believe you intended to link to the Indiegogo crowdfunding page: Sleevenote.

Personally, I would be curious as to how you would position Sleevenote in comparison to something like Roon or BluOS on a iOS or Android tablet, given Sleevenote's price point and focus on the visual presentation. I haven't found much information on what the UX would actually be like other than the small amount in the promo video, and it doesn't appear to support wireless external audio playback.

Hi NekoAudio,

Thanks very much for linking :)

Our position is that you'd be interacting with the best way to view albums - purely from their artwork. It'll connect with our database of artwork, meaning that you can view additional booklet art and control the music playback directly from the original track list art (providing it's in our growing database), we're very much about visual interaction.

We're speaking with the Roon community about how best to control playback in that environment.

It will support wireless audio playback, with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.

We're also offering app versions (iOS/Apple Music already available) to experience artwork-centric listening.

Let me know any more questions :)

Tom
