A guy came out to give us a bid and ideas on a kitchen remodel. He wanted to see what was below the kitchen and where the electric box was. I take him to the lower level, point out the area below the kitchen, move forward and point out the room and where the box was. This room is beside my listening room. The guy sort of passes me and continues to gravitate to my equipment rack. I guess he noticed the turntable first that is what he commented on first.
Turns out he is into audio having some B&W with older ARC gear. He was amazed he found another audiophile. He says he is in a high number of houses a month and no one has a set up like mine. I suppose he just meant something other than home theater or similar.
He made time to listen to a song to see what my system sounded like.
Now I don't know if we bonded or he heard cha-ching, LOL
