I had the opportunity to try this out at the Bristol HiFi show in the UK and was decently impressed. I’d like to put it beside a Mutec unit and am being sent one soon if stock is there.

anyone else got an impressions or comments or experience with this innuos?

here is my article - https://www.13thnote.net/2020/02/27...-innuos-phoenixusb-reclocker-at-bristol-2020/

and here is the YouTube video - https://youtu.be/7iWWKfk6P04

hopefully I can engage more with people on here if I have time, but doing these videos takes up so much time.

It is pricey compared to some. I guess time will tell as to wether it is worth it. The mutec ones look good, but I think the innuos does have on its side the power supplies too which the wired for sound doesn’t. Whether this is worth the big jump is another conversation.

Agreed, the Wyred comes with a real basic so so power supply. I know several people who picked up an iPower LPS unit which seems to work very good with the Recovery for $50.

Hello guys, more or less new to the site and thought I’d engage here

I have interest in this unit, currently I am using the Innuos Zenith SE. and I can say it’s an excellent server.
As. Have a DAC addiction I have rolled many dacs through my rig and as such have found that thus far every one of them sound (subjectively) better when I convert the USB to SPDIF/AES. I use an AudioByte Hydra Z/Hydra ZPM combo to convert to AES and consistently this D-D conversion provides a better sonic result.

I’d like to think that Innuos can rectify my thoughts on USB in general , their power supplies are excellent to amazing and their servers are the easiest darn things to set up ever.

Hopefully someone will chime in with in house experiences .

Currently I’m using an Abbingdon Music Research Signature tube dac (DP777se) and this digital chain is really good. I guess one has to wonder if the Innuos reclocker can best this scenario
