Hey gang,
Today Danny Ritchey of GR-Research and Ron Brenay of New Record Day just posted two excellent video interviews with Norm Varney of A/V Roomservice discussing the importance of room and floor-borne vibration on the audio quality of high-fidelity systems and how the A/V Roomservice EVPs can really help to manage this imparted vibration to improve your system's overall audio quality.
Both of these interviews are excellent and informative. Highly recommend you watch them both. i'd recommend starting with Ron's and then watch Danny's as the follow-on interview.

I use Norm's EVPs in my system and can attest first-hand to how well they work and how effective they are in quieting down your listening room. If you'd like to see some actual data as to how effective EVPs are in reducing imparted vibration, just let me know and I'll post some data from an experiment I did a few years back with the EVPs under my DAC.
