I use one of the tape monitor functions on my amp for engaging an EQ unit.
I just realized that the stereo-to-mono button on my amp does not work when I have the tape monitor engaged. Not sure why, but that is what happens.
As a workaround, I am thinking of getting one of those inexpensive stereo-to-mono boxes that are readily available. I assume that these will be more durable and less hassle than a Y-adapter set up with RCA cables.
Anyone had any experience with these?
