Yeah, just getting back from chatting with some significant people in Swiss Audio.
Antoine Petrov --R&D head of Devialet. (ex-Goldmund) Interesting chats about the Phantom (present and its possible future). DSD vs PCM and their proper implementation, tubes and audiophiles in general. Pity a phone call cut it short.
Yves (Gallet?) - from Manufacture Le son…Hopefully he goes to Warsaw Show with Stenhiem next year!
Markus Thomann - Klangwerk. Catching up after meeting a few years back in Zurich
Christof Faller - CEO of Illusonic…nice progress report on some future collaborations
Christoph and Markus of Illusonic--nice cathing up with them after my last visit a couple years ago.
Next year is the 10th anniversary of Illusonic, so I hope to be there for the big party next year. This really is a great place to live to meet people in the high end trade. All great people and we can have real conversations and different perspectives.
