Slowing down Mike , this LP set's been out for a while :-)

In any case , far cheaper to buy ex-UK from Amazon UK

Did I say it was new? Has there been lots of talk about this album? No and no.

Maybe try contributing to the music forum yourself. Unbelievable.

Sure , with a sweet, gilt-edged invite like that , who could refuse?

Me thinks Mike was just trying to bring attention to a particular album. Not that it was the latest. I for one appreciate this kind of sharing, even if I have had it for years. And by the way, it is his site!

If I remember correctly, she had a little cold when she sang there. Amazing that she still sounded so good. My version of the album (6 sides), that I received from England a few months ago also came with 2 CDs and a DVD. Same?

No CD/DVD. Was yours the one with the blue cover or same as this one?

I have the blue one on digital and it wasn't good.

I then got the black and white one on vinyl and its amazing.

Same recording? Same master?

Thanks Mike, will be ordering the black cover version. I wonder if the blue was a digital master?

I'm wondering if it was MP3! The four album cover black version is amazing. After an initial clean, wow!

I know a lot of you guys are doing vinyl, but if anyone wants to know, the blue one on TIDAL certainly doesn't sound good.

I know! I tried that one too. What the heck? This black/white album is outstanding. Maybe someone can find out the differences. Different mastering? I love to say that's because vinyl rules, but it's never this different!

Mike

I thought I read on Hoffman's site that the B&W cover versions were mastered by an engineer in the UK. The ones here by someone at Capitol.
