If We Can't Trust Our Ears Then Whose?

Interesting and true.
That said, I have a interesting way if listening to music anyway when I want to use it. I listen with my whole body which does of course include the brain and the ears, but it's still different than just listening with your ears. I've always done it that way.
It's nothing exclusive either, anyone can train themselves to listen to music with their entire being.
There's a stone deaf musician that listens in this fashion who also gave a TED talk about it. What freaked me out is that I'm not deaf, but have been listening the same way she does before I knew of her.
I think we can still trust our ears to our own. We certainly can't trust the ears of others because we don't all hear the same way.
