Not really. There are several other tables, for instance the Red Point or Galabrier, that come to mind before the Kuzma. That said, there's only so many ways to build a turntable. :)

Vertical Tracking Angle Arm Pod Motor – The VTA arm pod motor moves up and down 0.001-thousanths at a time to find the perfect sound. (Or hold the button and obtain continuous movement.) Total arm movement is .600-thousanths. (It can be set all the way down, then adjusted to 90-degrees. For a 12-inch arm, movement can be adjusted to up to 92-degrees.)
The VTA is easily set to 90-degrees using the included specially-designed tools. Precision dial indicator is used for minute arm adjustments without using a microscope.

To my knowledge, that's the second arm with remote control VTA/SRA. The first was the Air Tangent ($15K) from 20 years ago. But AT didn't have the caliper nor that precision IIrC. It will be interesting to see how Lloyd accomplishes the feat without sacrificing rigidity or adding any unnecessary resonances but if you know Lloyd, he's thought of everything! :)

I'm also interested to see the tools he includes to set SRA. I was just talking to another manufacturer this week who is coming out with an instrument that will do everything one needs to set up a cartridge. Acoustical Systems is also coming out with something to complement its Smartractor to set SRA. Hopefully will have that soon.

Myles...Look forward to seeing those all in one tools and how they facilitate SRA setup.

I have nothing good to say about Red Point worst deal I ever made. I would take Kuzma or any table over Red Point.
