Hi, I’m new here and seek some assistance please. I’m planning to install hi-fi system all over my house to have 2 ceiling speakers in each room, my concern is does the amp. Watts matters here with the speakers watts, I mean I’ll be using 8 ohm system, should the speakers watts match the amplifier. Can I install more than 4 speakers in a zone?
any recommendation please. Thanks

There has never been any reason to match amplifier power with a speaker's wattage rating. You can safely use just about any amplifier with just about any speaker as long as you pay attention to the sound. If you have inadequate power the amplifier will run out of power at high levels and sound strained. If you have too much power the speakers will sound strained at high volumes. In either case the solution is simple. Just lower the volume.

60WPC or more (the more the better) will most likely be more than enough power for your needs. Having more power than you need is always a good thing.
