Yesterday I finally visited the exhibition Dieter Rams: Principled Design at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (it ends tomorrow).


Was pleased to see amongst all of the cool items on display, a bunch of hi-fi gear that he designed, principally for Braun.

Lovely stuff. I miss the old B&O design aesthetic, of which this reminds me.

Rams is one of the great modern designers. Definitely had a profound influence on Apple. I’d love to hear a pair of the Braun electrostatic speakers!
