Not the proper forum for gamers and gaming systems
The forum title said COMPUTER in it so you show me. I'm from Missouri. My gaming system is in fact a computer and it is not silent to boot. As far as I know this machine produces "digital audio" sound. If the mods here can find a better category for my thread, please move it there by all means. This computer is also an important component for music reproduction and reproduction of the sound portion of video streams. This box does much more than just game.

A gaming computer is bad for audio, and it must never be placed next to speakers, amps, dacs etcetera

An audio computer is a computer in which the power usage is turned back to a minimum with a maximum amount of shielding.

An audio computer is a computer in which the power usage is turned back to a minimum with a maximum amount of shielding.
However, the gaming PC will be shut down under the following conditions:

1. watching live local television broadcasts: it severely interferes with the signal-boosted indoor antenna even in SLEEP mode
2. watching DVD/BD movies
3. using DVD player to play music CD's
4. using the phone to stream music
5. listening to radio broadcasts on the receiver's tuner

I found audio tolerable while using the computer in the entertainment system do the following:

1. play games
2. stream radio and music from websites
3. stream TV and video from websites

The reason why the music is so loud in the 1981 Orion Pictures BD movie "Wolfen" while dialog is so soft is probably because it was originally mastered that way since it is a horror film. The James Horner musical score is absolutely bone-chilling so it is shocking when the scary sound barges in suddenly and barges in quite loud.
