Help ID Cable/Wire

The last owner left this in the “tv” wall. They drilled holes to hide cables for a wall-mounted tv (one hole high, one low). I pulled this out of the bottom hole along with a couple HDMI’s and extension (power) cable.

Anybody know what it is? I tried pulling it out but eventually ran into resistance and wanted to research before proceeding. Any help is appreciated.

It's speaker cables going to different rooms - e.g. Master BR, BR1, etc.

this cable is in my house -- it is run through the walls / ceiling and connects in wall speakers to a AV receiver -- or whatever one wishes to use as an amp.

Thanks for the help, guys; I appreciate it. I thought that might be what they were when I first pulled them out but don’t know where they run to. I’ll have to scour the walls again.

Look for blank cover plates.

Do you have in-walls or in-ceiling speakers in other rooms? Could be wired to that as well.

FWIW, whenever I want to know the procedence of a cable, I type all the words and do a Google search. More often than not I get an answer that leads to the source.
