I'm about to mount my flat panel on the wall. This is a 1080p plasma that I will eventually replace with a 4K piece in a year or two. It is a 65" set. While I'm doing this I thought of replacing the 10 yr old cables.

I'm debating whether to buy run of the mill high speed HDMI cables (e.g. Belkin, Monster,...) or spend more money for AQ, Kimber or brands alike. Everything I've read indicates no differences are to be obtained by spending more money.

Thoughts?

I thought the same too until I swapped in Wireworld Platinum Starlight G7. From what I have discovered, there is marginal digital deterioration (both video and audio but video more noticeable) before the waterfall effect really kicks in.

The HDMI cable I found that comes very close to the WWP G7 is the Furutech N1-4 for a third of the price.

I use Wireworld ultraviolet 7.....the difference between this and Monster,Belden et al. is phenomenal. Build and performance is outstanding.
