Grusin Rosen Productions - GRP Label

I have a pretty good collection of disks from the Smooth Jazz onslaught. The majority of them are GRP Label and I always felt that they did have a better sound quality than most mainstream and rock disks. I have been spinning several lately and still find them to sound really good.

Do these disks still stand up today on your big rigs compared too other "better" disks and labels?

The one I find to be a truly exceptional recording is Dave Grusin's Homage to Duke. Superb dynamics, soundstage, and some of the best 'shimmer' I've ever heard on a redbook CD.
