Grant Fidelity A-534-B tube amplifier

Yes it looks like a good deal but you do not know how will it sound like with your phones. What headphones do you have and how do you plan to listen to them? At work/home - desk/living room/bed room? What headphone(s) will you be using them with?
 
I'm going to be using it with Final Audio Pandora Hope VI. It's going to be home desktop use..

I do not know where you are located but I pair Hifiman 400i, 500, 560 with ifi-audio iDSD Micro and Audeze LCD-XC with Calyx M digital audio player and anyone who heard it - were wowed. Both these setups are portable and will drive most headphones out there ...

I heard very good things about idsd. I actually had the HE-500 up until yesterday - picked up a Micromega Mydac, and deciding on amp for now..
 
I think it would be fun to try this amp ... but having done this buy and sell so many times over years - I am merely pointing towards practicality - high price to performance factor and proven track record. Of course then there is a whole real estate thing on desktop.

Either way - enjoy the journey :)
