The current setup is a bit of an abomination, for me. [I've shamed McIntosh Labs - LOL]

I shared my system with Dan...[Double-D] and he urged that I share it with the forum. I did not want to because I am not pleased with the look because it is located in my office. But he pointed out a remark that I had made in our PM exchanged:

"
At this time, my main house in Tahoe is being built. There I will have a dedicated sound room, as you have. Until then, in my other house... I do have a huge theatre and other rooms, but those are in use by my family or simply, not an appropriate space; and as for that theatre, just not fashionable and feasible. Though, the theatre is lovely."

So, I will make it right - eventually. Here goes, system is located in my home office...because my home theatre room at my second house can not accommodate this system.

Ugh, the window/drapes in the background is a real plus -- not!

Don't laugh, Steve....well, I am... :)

Note: The highlight is my puppy is in the shot.

David - the McIntosh gear is some real eye candy. I think it looks beautiful, but you have one too many pairs of 2301's. Send them to me for safe keeping. [emoji56]

At the opposite side of the office, I have music stored in several logical places with easy of access and all within a temperature controlled environment. I had this little number crafted a few years back. There are compartments located at front, sides and actually behind the LPs. Think Hellraiser! Hard to believe, this unit holds roughly 15,000 CDs [w/out jewel cases]. Roughly 500 of my favourite albums. The large drawers, manage all the odd shaped box sets.

I'm a fit guy and bench 265 pounds. I can't move this beast without unloading 3/4ths the stored inventory. It's heavy!

David... Beautiful. The MC2301s stacked on their SA racks looks awesome! It's an elegant and complete McIntosh 2-ch setup with plenty of listening options.

Also love the custom credenza. Wish I had the room for such a piece. Hmmmm...Maybe I can convince The Lady that we need more furniture....

Nice system, 40yrs later and you still can't beat Mac for looks , only a pr of Threshold sa1,s are a close match for looks .... :)

My four legged friend is the best part!

+1 They are the best and they love to find a sweet spot. We have a new blue English Staffordshire Bull Terrier pup and he is still learning the rules of proper listening behaviour!

My best friend breads and raises Staffordshire's. Excellent pup!

Looks nice and very powerful too.

Please revisit when you set up in the dedicated room.

Great looking gear David! BTW, looks like you have a nice four legged friend there as well.

I need to figure out a design like this. Very nice system and I like the storage furniture!
