finally got my system all together but can't find the "on" switch

OK, just found the switch

He said it's probably a bad tube. So off to the tube cabinet.

OK, found the problem. Bad rectifier. Replaced and all is good

I REALLY like the 30.5. I sold the Coincident Frankenstein 300B amps after getting the Pass.
With the Pass there is a little loss of "that golden glow" in the mids compared to the franks but in all other areas (in my system) the Pass is superior.
Thru the years I have gone from a drop ceiling with a boxed in duct, to removing the duct, to removing the drop ceiling and now I'm working on installing a hard ceiling. As a test I have screwed up some sheets of plywood. The results are very positive, truly reinforcing the bass and lower registers and creating a more "holographic" space. Not all the way there on my acoustical "room from hell" but making good progress.

Isn't that what was used in the first colonoscopies?
