Nice to see the NCF tech continue to move into the other products like the Schunko sockets. Why would this unit come with only one NCF piece and not both? Is this a item you put together specifically to test the differences between the old and new NCF sockets?

Hopefully they'll soon get the tech to the FI-52 and FI-52M AC and IEC connectors. It's been quite a few months now since the FI-50/FI-50M NCF products have been out.

You're absolutely right - two types of sockets help to find and compare differences between them.

Thanks

Have you done a similar thing for the GTX receptacles to try and hear differences between say the GTX-D NCF(R) and GTX-D (R)? I suppose since the GTX NCF(R) item is a duplex rather than a single and no GTX-S NCF(R) exists a such an easy and direct comparison like above may not be possible.
