Ford vs Ferrari

Trailer for the soon to be released flick 'Ford vs Ferrari' based on actual events that led up to and presumably includes the 1966 Le Mans 24 hrs race. I'm hesitant to say "true Story" because the trailer has lots of stylized CGI reminiscent of 'Rush' ('76 F1 season, Lauda vs. Hunt). As a student of the golden age of sports car racing I'll see it when it debuts this Fall but im certain its rife with inaccuracies. Christian Bale is a reasonable facsimile of Ken Miles, but Matt Damon was dreadfully miscast as Carol Shelby.



If you want the facts and only the facts, watch 'The 24 Hr War' instead, produced by car nut extraordinaire Adam Carolla.

Josh Brolin would have been great as Shelby.....
