Guys we have a private room reserved at Season 52 at 7:00 pm on Saturday the 9th.

Indeed Mark. However, you should have seen the diversity in the people that attended this show. Many of us were positively impressed by the many young people a and females that were present over the weekend. The organizers did a great job in marketing the expo locally. You should be able to see some of the diversity in the show coverage thread.

Mike-That's great if lots of young people showed up. This hobby needs new blood.

Yep, there are many young people who can't find a place to put these big systems in their parents house. :rolleyes:
 
I hate I missed the dinner. I was hit with some evil stomach bug on Saturday morning early and then caught a flight back early Sunday. Hope everyone enjoyed the venue and food.

Yep you can't beat FREE admission. A friend of mine and his wife and son went down for Sat and really enjoyed it. He said if it would have cost, the wife would have stayed home. :)

Sorry to hear and hope you get well soon Marty. I missed it too! At the time I reserved, I didn't realize it would conflict with a show event I needed to attend, namely my old school's jazz band, whom Bart and I personally invited. Doh!
They played a terrific set, heard the dinner was great too. Next year I'll be more mindful of the entire schedule. See ya then!
