Evolution acoustics + esoteric

FRO...interesting about the Ayre MX-R vs. Pass XA-160.5 comparison. Have you ever tried high-powered tubes on the MM3s?
 
No doubt I would think that high-power tubes would sound exceptional with these efficient speakers.
Remember that they would only be driving the mids and tweeters, since they have internal 1000watt sub amps.
Don't really want to mess with the tube route since I use this system for A/V also.
