Celebrating jazz in its true form - as "Music in the Making" - the 28th annual Elkhart Jazz Festival featuresGrammy-winner David Sanborn and Super Bowl XXXII halftime performer Big BadVoodoo Daddy as its 2015 headliners.
The party of the summer is presented by Forest River and runs June 19-21.Discounted early-bird passes are available through May 8, and the full schedule for the six stages will be announced in the coming weeks.
In addition to the headliners in the historic Lerner Theatre, which is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year, "Music in the Making"welcomes back legendary names and some of the hottest talent in jazz. BuckyPizzarelli, Davina and the Vagabonds, the Gene Knific Trio, Stephanie Trick andTony Monaco/Fareed Haque Trio are among the featured performers.
The Elkhart Jazz Festival features an outdoor free stage and five ticketed venues. Sunday's finale will be an all-star jam followed by the U.S. Army JazzAmbassadors.
