I was at East Street Records today in West Seattle.
They sell new and used CDs, Albums, Movies, Shirts and other misc. sundries. They also bring in live music and sell food, beer and wine - it really is a cool place.
This is what I believe is the future of hard sales, as big box and corporate for that matter never really understood music other then from a financial point. My hunch is the industry will remain and operate more like a cottage industry, so no sweating isolated and integrated transports and disc players.
