DSPeaker?

Chris - I bought one to try to solve my bass problems with my Raidho's and Alexia's. It definitely does what it says! I found it very straightforward to use and quite a good value.
I would recommend you also look at the MiniDSP.

I tried both Chris. It performs nicely as a DAC. My friend John has tried the DSPeaker and MiniDSP and preferred the MiniDSP FWIW.
I was surprised at how good the DSPeaker was.
DEQX is another, but we are talking a lot more money.
Do you have a bit of a bass problem or just curious about the DSPeaker?

Just curious. I have some treatments; some corner bass traps...some panels for first-reflection. But my room is far from perfect. And it's got a layout, that makes "perfect" hard to pull off.
The thing about these kinds of units, is I wonder; philosophically...do we spend tens of thousands, just to run our sound in and out of these things? :skeptical:

I also had the DSPeaker in my system and it does reduce some of the low freq. issues but at the same time it strips the life out of the music.....things become hard and edgy and the mids on up seem to suffer the most. Honestly it sucked in my system, like listening to a CD from the 80's.....but I'm sure others have had good luck with it. As always YMMV!!
If it's bass you are trying to solve, they work. Do they giveth and taketh away? Well, that's for the individual to decide.
It its higher frequencies, then they DSPeaker won't help. Vicoustic absorbers, among others work well.

It definitely helped the subs in my room.I have 2 seaton's , and after dspeaker, ht is fabulous.i have vapor joule's , so i don't need them for 2 channel.
