Anyone running a DS Audio DS-W1 Optical Stereo Cartridge ???
I like the idea behind this unit.As I am familiar with Clearaudio carts I want to know if it is similar to one of there range??

I thought the two I heard at Axpona were extremely impressive. One was on the AMG/ARC/Sonus Faber set up that many considered best in show. The other was on Magico/Clear Audio being compared a/b to the Goldfinger. IMO it was close. I could definitely see it someday in a second arm so I could have a chance for a long term comparison in my own system. (First I gotta get my first arm.):lol:

I think the science makes a great deal of sense. All of the benefits of the Straingage (speed and resolution) with no frequency skewing due to lack of RIAA balance.
