I am thinking about possibly using tube amplifiers with my Sonus Faber Il Cremonese (also thinking about the SS Job Monoblocks). I am interested in the Primaluna Dialogue HP used in monoblock configuration for around 200WPC with KT150s. My other option is to use a pair of Don Sachs KT88 amplifiers to biamp my speakers, effectively giving me 120WPC. I was using the Ayre VX-5 with the Il Cremonese and it seemed to work well. I was hoping to gain a little more sparkle and three dimensionality by moving to tubes. My past experience is that tube watts have a higher perceived volume, plus the 200W will give me less than 3db over the biamped KT88 amps. The Primalunas should give me a little more control, but I understand that that also has to do with the circuits and output transformers - so Don's amps may actually keep up with the Primalunas in that regard.

Any thoughts?
