Allnic - but while I like their 3000 and 5000 phono, and their A5000 amp is also musical, I do not like their L5000 DHT pre. We tried a Soulution 720 instead of a L5000 between the Allnic phono and the power amp, and the Soulution was much better. Another friend replaced his L5000 with a NAT Magnetostat (which I know well) and he preferred the NAT, sold on the Allnic. His phono was the Allnic 5000 and the power amp was the Alieno OTL. The pre while trying to be beautiful gives up on drive, dynamics, space, separating all the nuances of opera or orchestra. I think their phono is the best of the line and is seriously good, once the recti is rolled. I would like to listen to the new push pull m3000 mk2 from Allnic.
I fell in love with the Rossi gear on Voltis several years ago. That may have been before the DHT series of preamps. I think a basic setup starts around $8800 but that could have been an old reference to price. DHT seems to be getting more attention these days.
He made my 4P1L Preamp and the sound is wonderful. I know he has made couple of preamp's which was switchable similar to Vinnie Rossie's preamp. He is located in Norwalk, CT.
Thanks! I think Jack pointed that out. Looks like a great deal. Even has an amp inside? I wasn't expecting to get something so quickly. I'll have to contact the guy and ask some questions.
That one is fully loaded including DAC, Phono and Amp modules all of which can be removed and sold separately if you don't need them. Or you could just remove them to eliminate any possible extra noise. Should be great with any of the JBL's and for low level listening might be just fine with the Studio 2's.
The one shadowlight linked is the second one just listed today. The one I linked has been up a while and is loaded. The one today is just amp and preamp so contact them both.
