For whatever reason, one of my Denali 2000 stopped working. It has AC in, but no output. It is dead, and I see no breaker or other device that could stop the AC.

I contacted Shunyata via their website, and waiting for a response. The really irritating part of this is I thought the amp died, and shipped it off for repair. That was a waste of a few hundred dollars. :)

Call Richard at Shunyata Research and get an RMA.
And before you send it, make sure that you have verified that the power cord is not the problem. As is the case with all of power conditioners the Denali 2000 has a lifetime warranty.

Thank you. I just unplugged and plugged the cables on the 2000 back in, and now I am reading 120v out of the cable that plugs into the amp. When I get the amp back then I can verify everything is okay. That was bizarre since it has been fine and untouched for years.

Yeah sounds like the cable just worked it’s way loose. Keep us informed. We are here to help.

I almost did the same thing recently. I thought the amp for my center channel speaker had gone rogue. I got a repair quote and pulled it out for shipping, but the following night I heard the same distortion. It turned out the subwoofer was doing weird stuff from a too hot input signal. The solution was to dial in some attenuation to the subwoofer DSP. There was nothing wrong with the center channel.

Hence the link above on Fault-Tree Analysis.
