It seems they didn't learn from Tekton case. This will backfire (already has).
The reviewer builds a strong case that DCS is petty and trying to bully.
I can just imagine a jury's eyes rolling back in their head if this did go to court, or even the judge, with the technical content they'd have to discern.
You also have to wonder about the wisdom or lack thereof dragging an old review out and giving it more attention than it would have ever gotten if left alone. I personally didn't know about the review or even the particular YouTuber.
There is another side of view. There are some "customers" who spread bad reviews against a company because of something else. For instance in a shop they had to wait long and as revenge they tell on every channel that the customer service is bad (at that moment partly true), or they tell even lies in their reviews. In my country both are prohibited. To sue your own customers is a big step, but I can imagine if one reviewer is trying to destroy your reputation by putting all fake reviews on the internet, it is better to do everything possible to stop this.
As long as you don't know who they really are, the only way is to ignore them and focus on your own business and marketing.Well said. How about the new crop of “Dealer YouTubers disguised as reviewers”?

Yes, glad to see DCS owning up and taking appropriate steps to rectify the situation. I don’t believe kudos are in order though…the statements made by David Steven may have been I good faith but in his position I think he should have done his due diligence *before* putting his foot in his mouth… not after.
