Is anyone here beafing up their DC cables from their linear PSU to device?

eg. HDPLEX, RedWine, Mojo/Jule, Kaia, Teradak etc

I bought a couple of HDPLEX linear PSUs. One for a CAPs, the other for my cable STB & Littlite. The new 100w HDPLEX is a cool dual rail product that has for voltage outlets 19v/12v & 9v/5v.

I need an XLR/3.5mm tether made up for the STB and would like a nicely shielded cable.

Any recommendations?

Curious to know what products people are using to replace switchmode warts for some of their devices also.

I bought one from Revelation Audio for my XP-20, and it really improved it. It is shielded, and the DB-25 connectors are mil-spec shielded. The stock Pass cable is a piece of plastic throw away junk.

I am now trying to get one for my Lumin S1, but he is having a problem finding the male connector.

Thanks Bud, will take a look to see if they customise.

Looks like I need ground sheid on the PSU/XLR side & 6mm x 3.3mm DC plug no pin.

I'm going to replace the stock DC cable between the Paul Hynes LPSU and the exaSound DAC. I've found an interesting connector: Oyaide DC-2.5G! I'm not really satisfied with what's on the market right now so I guess I'll make it custom with silver conductors, teflon insulation and stuff like that. Unfortunately there's no audiophile grade 4 pin DIN connector on the market today so a pro grade one must suffice. :D

Also having a problem finding quality DC connectors, especially in the 3.5-5.5mm range.

Yes, 3 pin XLR and 2.5mm audiophile grade plugs is generally where it's at because of their primary applications but everything else off the shelf appears to be low grade.
