I want to add a Gustard R26 R2R to my system: Hegel 190, Node 2i, NAD C546BEE, Dynaudio 34, REL T/7x but I'm not sure what would be the best connection. I'm new to computer audio and not even sure what connection options I have. Is there any way I could setup it up which would allow me to compare the DACs in the Node, the Hegel and the R26? I would appreciate any advice. Thanks Bill

It's not clear what the source of "content" to the Gustard DAC will be. Will it be the NAD CD/disc player, or?

Regardless of how the "source file" is provided to the Hegel integrated, the simplest means would likely be to connect a pair of RCA interconnects from the Gustard, NAD, or the Blusound's RCA outputs to an input on the Hegel integrated. You could compare those three digital sources to the Hegel's internal DAC.

Of course! Sorry. I recently started using the Bluesound App and I'm streaming from Tunein, Radio Paradise, IHeartRadio etc. I'm also starting to rip my cds to a Synology NAS with XLD software and MusicBrainz for metadata. I guess that means my source will be the Node 2i? I don't know if using the NAS would change things. Won't the NAS run on the Bluesound software through the Node? I find this very confusing. Never sure what the various software programs are doing or controling. Thank you for the advice. Bill

It's been a while since I had Blue Sound but I seem to remember a tab for NAS.

So many options for connecting. Your Node has both digital and analog outs. You could digitally connect the Node to the Gustard and the Node analog out into the 190. You could do the same for the CDP
