Finally got the time to listen to my Aqua La Scala Mk II Optologic DAC.

I got it from Mike.

This DAC is waaaay beyond my expectations - which weren't slight to begin with.

In fact, I can't find any sonic issues to criticize.

Dynamics, Presence, & Tone all present & accounted for on every cut!

Musical Engagement? Everyone who has heard this system - pre-Aqua - have said it was one of the very best - and more than a few said it was the best they ever heard.

Umm, you should experience it now... :) :amazing: :)
 
Audio is a funny hobby in that we can be 100% satisfied with our systems and then something new enters the system and it blows our mind. In the last year or so I have replaced every component in my system and every new component was an obvious improvement. Congrats Jim, you made another good choice. Cheers all.
