My first CD player, Hitachi DA-1000. Purchased at the Crazy Eddie store on Rt. 17 Paramus NJ. Sometime in the early 80's. Oh my how the world has changed since then.
..and I also remember one of my first CDs purchased, Donald Fagen, The Nightfly.
I heard about them, but was more familiar with Uncle Steve's electronics on Canal street in Manhatten. Their prices hinted at stuff falling off the back of a truck. loL
