A visitor to our facilities the other day stared at the giant Infinity IRS monoliths in Music Room number Two in amazement. *Not because they were so wonderful, but just because of their sheer size and the amount of space dedicated to them.

“Don’t you think this is way over the top? *Why do you need so much just to make music? *Isn’t this a bit crazy?”

I started thinking about that and yes it is crazy, it is over the top. *It is not normal. *It is quite abnormal. *But it’s why we love it.

We do this because we believe – at our very core – in the need to challenge the status quo, to question what many are comfortable with as “normal”.

I hate boring and run from ordinary. *I wonder sometimes why I do any of this, what gets me out of bed in the morning. *And the answer I keep coming back to is my burning desire to create something different, to challenge what is and do it better, for less. *I would probably be just as happy making high tech cars, cameras or shoes as I am with audio. *I just want to be down in deep with great innovative minds working on eliminating the ordinary and surprising and delighting those that care with great products.

I am delighted that we just happen to design and build affordable high-end audio products that defy the status quo of the expensive, the cheap and the ordinary.

That it also involves music is a big plus for me as well.

The day I am required to design and support ordinary is the day I pack up my stereo system and go home.
