Those are beautifully done and are very striking in a printed ad or screen context where this Gotham-esque aesthetic is desired. They are exceptionally well done and beautiful.
Strictly opinion: I think it does obscure some of the marvelous (edge and other) detail and visual impact of the speakers. Did the photographer also produce photos against a striking white background? This speaker line deserves both ways of viewing all the great detail...

Honest feedback is how we learn. If photos are taken for marketing purposes then it is important to know how the photos are received by the target audience. Not everyone will view the photos in the same way.
I was underwhelmed by the "glam shots". I preferred the "real world" photos with more contrast. But that is just my opinion.
I was offered a white background and I didn’t want it. I like the black background.
What’s funny is that the online/print mags are asking for “glam shots” to accompany the reviews. Guess they don’t like my poor iPhone photos. [emoji6]
