Chord Hugo

Sean,

I turned Darrin on to one. He loves it. I know a guy who knows a guy.

That doesn't surprise me, Joe. You always seem to know somebody :)

I can't believe I'm reading people saying they like the Hugo more than an NDS in a Naim system. :disbelief:

Indeed. The rapid advancements will prevent me from spending top dollar on something that will be bested in no time.

Silly stupid over the moon bang for the buck. Ridiculously good dac and amp. Makes my ps audio pwd mkii sound like a 1982 kenwood CD player.

Go that right, a new "improved" DAC seems to come out darn near each quarter at different price points. About the time you invest in a "the new and improved DAC", a different new and improved DAC is coming out right behind it. The DAC market is starting to resemble smart phones

Right on! If you go back three years ago and look at the evolution (??) of DAC's, it's staggering. I remember when everyone thought the Weiss 202 DAC was expensive and state of the art. Now there are DAC's for 1/20th the price smoking it in sound and features.

You then look at the expensive stacks from a few years ago - Paganini, Scarlatti, etc. Wow.

I'm very happy with my Lumin. :)

That Lumin is looking better and better to me. I think simple is where it's at for my retired self and the Lumin could be very wifey friendly and that is always a plus. I sure need to hear one
