Can the new Pass amps accept spades AND bananas at the same time?

I want to bi-wire my speakers. Do the .8 series amps allow you to connect bananas and spades into the same terminal?

That doesn’t sound like a good idea. Get a set of bi-wire cables instead.

No reason it won't work the same as bi-wire cables as long as you can get secure connections on both at the same time. Some binding posts make that more difficult than others. If you already have the cables and are trying to save money temporarily give it a try.

I am most certain that you can use spades and banana’s into the same terminal.
My 100.8’s have two pair of binding posts per channel, so depending on which model you are considering this also adds considerable flexibility.
Also the binding posts are high quality and have a torque limiter to prevent over-tightening.

Kent at Pass Labs said the Furutech binding posts will accept spades and banana plugs at the same time. I probably should have asked them first, but now it's on the web if someone searches for it.
