I received the Millenia NSEQ-4 about an hour ago. Attached are the unboxing photos.

I have connected the unit to my main 2 channel system: MC2301s, C1000, MCD1100, MB100 and MT10.

HOLY MACKEREL! I am am intimidated [code for I'm afraid?] nah, but it is an adventure.

I'll just say this, there are many dials and adjusting one dial for each channel by one and two clicks made a massive impact.

Stay tuned for some serious feedback using this powerful tool.

I've wanted one for a long time. Can't wait for your opinion. It is supposed to be amazing and very transparent to the source.

joeinid...So far, so good. I have now played with a few clicks here and there. I've adjusted two knobs influencing both the left & right Channels. The owners guide calls this detented positions. As you know, there are lots of dials. At the moment, I have moved two dials - and these two dials with two detent ticks. This seems to ever so slightly clarify the upper end. What I did was cut a hint of the mid point rather than add to the top end. This seems to allow the upper end to audibly expand - loosen from strangulation. I've tried the before and after settings, and the before sound that I am playing seems subtly clouded. When I engage the dial, the sound seems just a hint clearer. As I understand, what I have done by using an upside down U curve as suggested by Millenia. They urge not to 'push' the curve because this can cause I'm so far impressed. This setting may not work for all music, but the one I am hearing now works well.

The bonus, you can disable the NSEQ-4 with the flip of a switch and the device is off the circuit.

It would have to be, otherwise it is always in the circuit.

the tape loop gives you the best of both worlds - direct and eq. Pity tape loops are not that common anymore on preamps.
 
David, I wonder if you will be the only one pioneering the efforts of using a pro audio component in the High-End Audio market?
