I had the 216 for probably 5 monthes, better than my 911mk3, the 218 is another level

Beautiful. Some of the best looking gear on the market. I got to hear a full setup driving some big Wilsons at a local shop a few years ago. Impressive to say the least. Congrats and enjoy your wonderful system.

Looking good and very jealous... I have never owned any home Burmeser, but I have always wanted some. I do have it in my car and it is quite amazing!

well I lied again, now I am done with this system, sold the single chassis 077 pre and went with the dual chassis unit, very nice and dead quite, layering of the music is incredible, shitty pic I know, enjoying some dylan

Incredible! A full Burmester electronics chain is special indeed. I have been using the 911 mk3 monos with the 088 for over 15 years.
Specific question: going from one to two 218 - what are the positives and are there things that you give up?

only thing I gave up was my chk book. more dynamic, speed, resolution, control, etc light and day difference
