This seems like an odd partnership to me. Bugatti has launched a limited 15-pair run of active powered high end audio speakers in partnership with Tidal (the German speaker manufacturer, not the streaming service):

Bugatti Royale: quite literally the Bugatti of active speakers | What Hi-Fi?

BUGATTI | TIDAL – ultimate audio systems since 1999
Also seems to have an available preamp/dac if you need all of your gear to match your car.

The speakers look gorgeous! Not an odd partnership when you consider that Tidal builds the most beautiful and flawlessly crafted speakers in the world and the sound quality is up there with the very best.

I will never be able to have these speakers, such as I will never be able to have a Bugatti. :(
But I never get anxious about what I cannot have.
And so I can't help thinking that they are beautiful and show (at least visually) an attempt to do something new and different.

Congratulations to the designers!

Nice looking speakers. Had never heard of the brand until a friend took me to an audio show just a short few years ago.

A lot of companies are getting into partnerships to promote a car or an audio device. Recently Bentley and Naim and Focal collaborated and released a pair of Focal headphones and Bentley and Naim released a wireless speaker. . I guess its all about styling credits from Bentley.

It's funny that Bugatti is one of three companies that offer the Burmester music system in their cars. Porsche and Mercedes are the other two. My little Benz comes with one and I can tell you it is the finest car audio system I have ever heard! (just a side not, since if they are partnering with Tidal maybe Tidal might be working on something for them). It is obvious that Bugatti cares about sound quality.

Somehow, I always associated the high-end audio companies with the USA. But now I am thinking that Germany is becoming THE high-end audio originator like what it has done with higher end cars.

I agree. A lot of US companies make great gear but German companies are really making some fantastic audio... MBL, T+A, Burmester, etc. I think many European companies are doing some great things. Of course there are some great Swiss manufactures, and some good stuff from England and Italy, etc. Some unexpected places like Poland! I am still surprised how fast the shipping is from Hattor. The shipping took less time then when I order something from a US company. By the way, what the heck is it with all the companies in Minnesota and Colorado. I guess cold climates are in the vogue for building audio equipment :).
