bug with mute

I know this sounds crazy, but twice in the past day:

I hit the "mute" button on my remote, and only the left channel mutes. The right channel is unaffected.

Hitting the "mute" button again turns both channels on.

Repeating the steps above does the same thing.

Cold-starting the T2 (off/on via power), and mute works as expected, but then later the weirdness starts again.

I've tried to force the problem to happen, but so far haven't found a way to make it happen dependably. Sorry, I'll keep trying.

1. Please turn on volume control, see if it makes a difference.

2. If after volume control has already been turned on and you still get the same problem, please toggle Leedh Processing Volume setting, see if it makes a difference.
 
It just happened again.

I had put the T2 into standby mode for a few hours. When awakened the mute button misbehaves (muting only the left channel). I had tried that earlier for a very short time and without success.

As you suggested, I turned volume control back on, and the mute functioned as it should. Leedh was on.

I'll put it into standby and see if it's still working properly in the morning.
 
OK, this morning, after sitting overnight in standby mode, with volume control ON, mute works as expected.

When I turn volume control OFF, the mute bug returns.

Back and forth, it repeats. The bug definitely appears to be related to the volume control setting.

ETA - after listening for maybe 30 minutes, the mute bug now occurs with volume control ON. Puzzling.

Please power cycle the unit. In Lumin app, set Idle Sleep. If you use Roon, disable Roon auto sleep. Try letting it idle sleep automatically instead of manually making it standby. See if makes a difference.
 
For this entire day I have used the following settings:

Volume Control OFF
Leedh Processing OFF
Auto Sleep is at 1 hour
Max Volume %100
(I have never used Roon, although strangely it was ON, even tho I would have never turned it ON)

Mute has worked as expected for this entire day. I had explicitly put it into standby a couple of times. No problems.

I'll turn off Roon, and I'll let it Auto Sleep and see if that makes a difference.

I suspect Volume Control OFF and Leedh processing ON to be the combination that causes problems.
 
Well, fast forwarding a month, the problem with mute is still occurring. Intermittently.

I chased my tail trying to reproduce for a couple weeks and was never able to find the magic steps to make it happen reliably. I gave up.

I haven't changed my settings in a couple weeks now, and it's happened 3 times since. Always goes away for a while when I restart the T2. Maddening.
