Border Patrol thoughts?

I was thinking of trying out a Border Patrol amp. I've read many good things. Anybody know much about them?

My thought is to use them with my Devore O96s.
 
they sure are pretty!!! i heard one model i do not remember which one but i believe it listed around $13k. and it was a super sounding amp. i loved it. very smooth in the mids and great highs. the bass was a little thin but that very well could have been the speakers(monitors) he was using. big devores might be a different story.
 
It's amazing that in their fully blown amp - and you can easily upgrade - the power supplies are mono and weigh 80lbs a piece and that's for a single 300b at 8 watts.

That's 200lbs total - damn that's soulution or boulder weight territory!
 
Border Patrol is local to me. Excellent reputation around the area for taking care of customers and being an all around good guy. I have heard their products numerous times over the years, always pretty good sound. I've never owned anything from them (never had the right speakers), but if they interest you... worth pursuing.
