So I get home from an overseas trip, barely recovered from jet lag and what do I do? I pick up a litter of 3 blue tabby kittens - barely 5 weeks old. Their claws do not retract yet, are too soft to scratch, little roly-poly bodies, wobbling around, little triangle tails... That also meant that I set up a pen for them in the living room as they can't get over 2 foot walls - or climb up to the other levels of the kitten cage which would mean they are confined to a 3 x 2' space (4 ft high but they can't make use of the space) - with food and litter box - which is not ideal.
So... without further ado, meet Tiramisu (pink nose & white face and arms), Cannoli (black nose boy) and Biscotti (half black, half pink nose)
First day home was Labor day - they cried and needed cuddles so I put them in a sling and kept them close while I did a mountain of laundry.
From top to bottom: Biscotti, Cannoli, Tiramisu
