The power amp I have now has two sets of binding posts, so does my 4367's. The speaker cables I have around aren't on par with my reference but I figured they had to be better than the jumpers on my speakers and I always wanted to try bi-wiring them, I've not done that before. Like cables themselves bi-wiring seems to have opposing opinions. So I didn't know what to expect.

One set of terminals on my amp goes to one set of terminals on my speaker with my best cables on my highs/horns.

What I experienced was a dramatic improvement in sound quality. I mean sound improved but what really improved most was sound stage, it's like it snapped into place, it just sounded more right. The sound stage opened up and the depth is amazing. Probably the best depth imaging I've experienced in my room. Background singers are now in the background, you sense layers on big band and in Classical. I am thrilled with the difference.

I want to upgrade the cables on the bottom end. It may be hard to find used Clarus.

What have your experiences been with bi-wiring?

I tried it once, but all runs were from the same 2 taps so there was not much to notice. I tried Bi_Amping once and since the 2 amps were so totally different the sound wasn't great. I was wondering now since I have A and B taps, I could send 2 runs to try it out once the Fynes arrive as my Dyns are not Bi Wireable.

I don't have really bi-wiring because I only have one pair of terminations for each channel on the amplifier.
Even so, since i tried 4 conductors, using the 4 speaker terminals, I never went back.
Perhaps it was not as impactful as your experience but that was an obvious up-grade.
One thing I noticed was a clear decompression. Everything became effortless.

Yes well we can blame those pesky Brits for this Bi Wire "palaver"-

I've found one excellent cable and excellent Jumper setup to be superior (sonics)

to two inferior cable runs.

I put my Levinson back into my system, I can still bi-wire since one set of cables have bananas. The Levinson is sounding better than ever.

I am just surprised that a speaker the list price of my 4367's would use such a poor jumper. I mean it's only about 3", put something decent there, LOL

Clarus does make a jumper to match my cables, I'm not getting any bites on selling my cables, I may try the jumpers. It just seems a direct feed would be better than a signal split at the speakers even though you have a good jumper.

I would encourage anyone who has jumpers on their speakers still from the factory to remove them and do some experimenting, removing mine was an ear opener.

Mr P, are you suggesting to use a Single to Bi Wire cable IF the speaker has jumpers and to remove them?I think I still have a set of Tara Prism Biwires I could try on the Fynes.

The Jumpers on my old Clearfields I just sold were pretty significant.

If your amp only has one setof speaker terminals you may have to double that end's cable connection at the amp.

I'm currently using two cables, one to the high terminals an one to the low. My 532h only has one set of terminals so I have the cable with spades connected to the binding post the the banana fits into the end of the binding post. So it's basically doubled at the amp.

The Clarus jumpt would use bananas to connect te speaker binding posts on the speaker.
