hi

im just wondering again i have 2 svs ultra towers that i would use as rears
and 4 svs prime elevation speakers for atmos

if i was to use emotiva t2 as fronts and a c2 centre speaker
and 2 emotiva t1 as extra surrounds
again with a denon 4400 and a emotiva xpa2 gen3 amp
again would they work very well as a speaker package together

if not what if i was to use the emotiva t2 as fronts and a c2 centre

and 4 svs elevation speakers as well

with 2 chane 5.4 speakers
with 2 chane 2.4 speakers as additional rears

with a denon 4400
and a emotiva xpa 2 gen 3

again would they work well together as a package thanks

You might want to consider posting your question on a site that is oriented toward home theater. Such as the avsforum.

IMHO, it is best to match all speakers but if that is not an option, then it is best to match the 2 front and center speakers as they will carry the work load.

In addition, it is personal preference as to how important a perfect home theater sound is to you. HT is not that important to me and I use to run a B&W center channel with a sub and my 2 Magnepan speakers as my fronts with no rear speakers. I did not care that the speakers did not match. Now I just run a pair of Deftech monitors without a center channel and it works for me.

Why not just use Emo T1's or T2's for front, C2 center and E1's, E2's or B1's as rears? I am not sure why you would want to waste money on tower speakers as rears unless you already have them.

What speakers do you currently own? If you already own the SVS speakers then go with the towers in front, buy an SVS Ultra center and the small SVS elevation speakers for the rears if concerned about money, otherwise go with the ultra series all around. Consider the SVS Ultra Surround speakers which are 2 speakers in one and it will save space and money because 1 speaker takes the place of 2.
