Gents, buying my girlfriend a set for her birthday since she watches lots of video with her iPad- what are the best earbuds under $200?

Thanks guys- I owned Etymotics 10 years ago and they didn't have much bass and weren't very comfortable. I ended purchasing Beyerdynamics which apparently are very comfortable and balanced.
 
Keith....there a few different end pieces that can be used with these phones. I find the soft plastic with flanges on them comfortable. Care should be taken to select the right ends for the wearer, since lows can escape from an ill fit. I use my Enymotics for the I-pod, and find them very satisfying indeed. Sure my Sennheiser 650's are better, but the Enty's are certainly up for their task.
 
The one I suggested are just as good as my Grado SR125 for bass.
They are very linear and may be the reason some people find others be better in bass.

By using the various tips, you can tailor your sound/ tonal balance.

A magical product!
 
Budjet, Schmudjet......when you have these phones for years, the difference is minimal.
