Ayre QB-9 Update

I mostly just lurk, but thought I'd post up and add my name to the growing list of those who have had the DSD/DAC/analog output upgrade done to their QB-9's and are very pleased with the results. Quite frankly, even after reading all of the accolades this update has produced, I was skeptical I would hear much change to what I thought was pretty decent sound. What a pleasant surprise to have major improvements in sound quality, due to this upgrade! Color me impressed!:woot:

I found that it's not a subtle upgrade - and that's for red book files. I never tried any DSD files.

Is this upgrade only for the DAC, or does it also pertain to the CX7 and CX5 players?
